Alisson has become the world's most expensive goalkeeper

Liverpool have made Alisson the most valuable goalkeeper in the history of the World Cup following a successful signing from Roma last night.

The Reds have given Brazilian goalkeeper a six-year contract without specifying their fee, but sources from Roma said they had spent £ 67 million on the deal.

Alisson spent two years with Roma after starting Internacional's home country and playing 37 games in Serie A last season. He is the fourth player Liverpool have bought this season after Fabinho (£ 40m), Naby Keita (£ 48m) and Xherdan Shaqiri (£ 13m).

Compared to two Liverpool goalkeepers, Alisson has a better record, scoring 79% of the ball and Clean sheet 17 out of 37 league games.
